This year’s President’s Challenge, we are going to take a walk down memory lane and evoke some nostalgia. Pick a person, a place, a song, a thing, a memory, and create something that brings back those wonderful feelings. Remember, nostalgia can come from anything, whether it is in the far distance from your childhood, or a brilliant memory you made with someone last year. 

You will present your project at the June 2026 guild meeting. Here are some ideas to help you get started. 

  1. Pick something that evokes the feeling of nostalgia, and write down the ways and reasons that what you chose makes you feel that way. 
  2. Decide how you will represent these nostalgic feelings in your project. Maybe the colors in your project represent something special, or will it be the materials you use? Be creative! 
  3. Create a timeline to make sure you finish your project by June!
